Who we help
For pharmaceutical and medical device companies
Health technology assessment (HTA), pricing and reimbursement (market access) strategy, and cost-effectiveness and budget impact analysis for entering reimbursement. Several products we supported have successfully entered payer-financed coverage.
Typical questions we are asked
How can our product enter social insurance reimbursement?
We manage the full submission process: technology assessment, systematic literature review, health economics analysis and budget impact calculation, then contribute to compiling the payer submission. Several products we supported have been reimbursed, including Medtronic MiniMed insulin pumps and the MaxioCel dressing.
What health economics evidence is needed for the submission?
Depending on the product and comparators: cost-effectiveness (CEA), cost-utility (CUA) or cost-minimisation (CMA) analysis, epidemiological modelling and a systematic literature review. We advise on the realistic evidence pathway and deliver it.
What is the expected budget impact, and how do we present it?
We prepare a budget impact analysis (BIA) based on Hungarian epidemiological and financing data, presented in the payer’s language with transparent scenarios showing what coverage means for the Health Insurance Fund.
